This cake was made for a couple, who because of an inside joke, decided to have a Mexican fiesta themed bridal shower. The bottom cake was marble with vanilla buttercream/chocolate chip filling and the top cake was guava pineapple with guava pineapple buttercream filling. The entire cake was covered in homemade marshmallow fondant and then decorated with more fondant pieces. Their initials are on each margarita glass, his J and her's D, their initial for their last name on top and their upcoming wedding date were all made from fondant as well as the chili's and flower petals on top. I absolutely LOVE the way this cake turned out... such a fun and bright cake to make, and only hope that the happy couple loved it as well! Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteDear Melissa,
I've never met you but feel as though I know you personally. I am Danielle's mother and you made a gorgeous 60th birthday cake for me in July.
I want to personally thank you for making my daughter's bridal shower cake. Not only was it delicious but it was so colorful and went so well with her theme. YOU really helped make her shower as perfect as it was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
