Wedding Cake

Four tier elegant wedding cake. Starting from the top... white cake with coconut filling, lemon cake with raspberry filling, white cake with strawberry filling, chocolate cake with almond filling. Originally the bride only wanted the cake itself with no flowers and no topper but once I got there to set it up I placed some on and she loved it. I absolutely love the blue and purple painted orchids that they used in their centerpieces... they were so amazingly beautiful in person!

Priti and Sandip's wedding cake and cupcakes

These cupcakes and small cake were made for a couple that were having a cupcake tower as their wedding cake along with a big dessert table. The wedding was in Jacksonville a couple of hours away, so everything was picked up by a friend of the couple and the wedding coordinator was going to place everything on the cupcake tower at the reception. I will post some pics of everything once I receive them. There were 216 cupcakes total consisting of four different flavors... chocolate chip with chocolate fudge frosting, chocolate with chocolate fudge frosting, orange with vanilla buttercream, and strawberry with a baked in strawberry with vanilla buttercream. The small cake which the bride and groom cut into was also strawberry. Congratulations Priti and Sandip!

Reenal's Bridal Shower

When I was asked to make this cake, I was told that I could have total freedom as to design, but a few things overall were desired. The colors that she wanted to focus on were burgandy and silver and she wanted something rich and elegant looking with the edible silver dragee's incorporated but really wanted to stay away from flowers. I think that I managed to pull it off. The top tier was red velvet, the bottom tier was orange, and the entire cake was covered in ivory fondant. The burgandy borders and the bows were fondant and the broaches in the center of the bows were handmade from fondant and dragee's. Because some people attending the shower were vegan, she also wanted some orange vegan cupcakes made. When I dropped it off, everyone loved it including the bride to be! Congratulations Reenal!

Ami's Bridal Shower

I absolutely love the way this cake turned out! This cake was made for my husband's cousin's bridal shower. The cake had two flavors... the bottom and top tier were passion fruit cake with vanilla buttercream filling, and the middle tier and the cupcakes were orange cake with vanilla buttercream filling. All the flowers were real, and if you look closely, little gold swirly twigs stuck out from them. Congrats Ami and Sidd!

All design with the exception of fondant borders were hand piped with royal icing and then painted gold. The bottom and top tier were chocolate cake with Oreo buttercream filling, and the middle tier was white cake with strawberry filling.

Snowflake Wedding Cake

This wedding cake was made for a happy couple Christina and Angelo. She requested a pale blue cake with snowflakes that sparkled. When I went to drop off the cake, the reception hall was set up with white and blue linens and adorned with snowflakes. The cake was a very subtle pineapple with guava pineapple buttercream filling and pineapple frosting. Congratulations Christina and Angelo!
