This cake and cupcakes were made for a little boy Jack who turned 1. The Big Red Car was white cake with vanilla frosting and then covered in homemade marshmallow fondant, and Dorothy the dinosaur was hand sculpted from fondant . 80 cupcakes were made... half vanilla and half chocolate, all with vanilla buttercream frosting and then topped with fondant toppers half with the number one and the other half to match The Big Red Car's wheels. Happy 1st Birthday Jack!
This cake was made for a little boy's 1st birthday, and was designed to go along with the Mod Monkey birthday theme. The cake was white with vanilla buttercream/chocolate chip filling, and the smash cupcake was white cake with vanilla buttercream frosting. The monkey, bananas, 1, and polka dots were all made from homemade marshmallow fondant. Happy 1st birthday Brayden!
This cake was made for a guy Nick whose favorite TV show of all time was Angel. I have never personally watched the show, so I really didn't know anything about it, other then the fact that I was told there was one episode that he (and I really have no clue who "he" was other then the fact that it was the main character) turned into a puppet. The cake was chocolate with vanilla buttercream filling and frosting. The puppet was sculpted from homemade marshmallow fondant and royal icing was used to make it look like blood was dripping down the sides of the cake. Happy Birthday Nick!
This cake was made for a little girl turning 1. Her mom requested to have a monkey with big feet wearing bright pink Crocs. The cake was chocolate with Oreo filling and the monkey, Crocs, bananas, 1, and the polka dots were all made from homemade marshmallow fondant. The smash cupcake was chocolate with vanilla buttercream with a fondant 1 and bananas. I was even so lucky as to have her mom email me a photo of the birthday girl enjoying her special cupcake. Happy 1st Birthday Bella!
This wedding cake was made for a happy couple Christina and Angelo. She requested a pale blue cake with snowflakes that sparkled. When I went to drop off the cake, the reception hall was set up with white and blue linens and adorned with snowflakes. The cake was a very subtle pineapple with guava pineapple buttercream filling and pineapple frosting. Congratulations Christina and Angelo!
